ATLRx Halloween Pumpkin-Apple Cider Elixir

ATLrx Halloween Pumpkin-Apple Cider Elixir

The countdown to Halloween is officially on! To get you in the mood for this spooky week and to get you excited for any Halloween party you have coming up, the ATLRx family has the perfect festive elixir to serve! (And if your gathering has kiddos, simply reserve the bourbon and prosecco for those who want to add a punch to the punch!)  The dry ice is for all ages though, because let’s be honest, you’re never too old to be completely enamored by dry ice!

This health-conscious yet fun and festive elixir features kombucha, apple cider, and pumpkin!  Kombucha has many health benefits and stimulates the immune system. It supports gut health and fights bacteria and also contains a powerful compound called glucosamine, which can help those with arthritis. The antioxidants present in the kombucha look out for free radicals and neutralize their effects, thereby repairing and protecting the body from chronic diseases and inflammation, making Kombucha and CBD the perfect pair for reducing inflammation!

We can’t pass up on our side kick either, pumpkin. Pumpkin is an excellent source of Vitamin A and is abundant in fiber and potassium. Carotenoids, the compounds that give pumpkins their bright orange color, are powerful antioxidants that play an important role in disease prevention. This festive punch not only is tasty but your body will thank you while you’re drinking it!

Now the “health” benefits in bourbon may not compare to our counterparts above however, I would argue that bourbon has some benefits of its own… sometimes you just need another sprirt.

Cheers and may your Halloween by full of spooky and wonderful memories!

Punch Recipe:

24oz spiced apple cider

8oz ginger or original GTS kombucha

1/2 tsp cinnamon

4 tsp agave

4 tbs pumpkin puree

300mg ATLRx bottle (we added 4 dropper fulls)

Optional For adults:

24oz prosecco

8oz bourbon

Mix ingredients in a shaker or bowl, stir occasionally so the pumpkin does not separate.  Serve in a pumpkin with dry ice around the perimeter to get the look that you see here!
