Pineapple Drank

With it being the middle of July we all need a good drink to cool off during the summer.  What better drink to make at summer barbecues than a frozen pineapple drink.  Cool, frozen and refreshing and FULL of healthy fats. We made this one without alcohol but alcohol can be added for an adult beverage.

Pineapples have amazing health benefits.

1. Antioxidants – thanks to all its antioxidant, pineapple has been known to aid in cancer
2. Digestive Enzymes
3. Boost Immunity & Suppress Inflammation

The medium-chain fatty acids in coconut milk and coconut oil are highly prized for their health benefits. Many people have a misconception about fats.  There are good fats and there are bad fats – Coconut Milk has ALL the good unsaturated fats. Unsaturated fats help lower disease risk so this beautiful pineapple drink is also a way to live a healthier lifestyle.  Boosting your immune system should also be a top priority during this pandemic.  Coconut milk is a perfect addition to add to your other daily habits.  Coconut Milk is also really filling so if you are looking for a perfect thing to pair with the barbecue sandwich at your BBQ, you won’t need many before you feel full and satisfied!

-Frozen Banana

-Frozen Pineapple

Cut top of pineapple off, scoop out as much of the fresh pineapple as you can making it hollow.  Put fresh pineapple juice in blender with coconut milk, 1 banana and 1 cup frozen pineapple. Blend until frozen.  Pour frozen mixture back into hollow pineapple and enjoy!
