Act 752, effective January 1, 2025, reshaped the market. The Louisiana Department of Health handles product registration, label approval, and testing standards. The Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control issues retail permits. A product needs LDH registration before it can be sold here. Ours have it.

What is not: smokable hemp flower and pre-rolls. All inhalable products, including vape cartridges. Adding CBD to food and beverages at retail is off-limits until the FDA approves CBD as a food additive.
Most consumable hemp products must be stored behind the sales counter. Check the label for a QR code linking to a batch-specific COA — that is required here, and it's your fastest way to confirm exactly what's in your hands.
