THCa Products for Indiana Customers
At ATLRx, we ship hemp-derived THCa products to customers across the country with full lab transparency. Indiana, however, has its own rules. Before you order, it is important to understand which THCa products can legally be shipped to and used in Indiana and which cannot. This page explains the current law and points Indiana customers toward the compliant options available to them.
Important: Smokable THCa Flower Is Not Legal in Indiana
Indiana bans smokable hemp at the state level, and that ban includes THCa flower and pre-rolls. Smokable hemp is defined as a product containing not more than 0.3% delta-9 THC, including its precursors and derivatives, in a form that allows THC to be inhaled into the body. THCa flower falls under that definition.
Manufacturers, distributors, and possessors of smokable hemp are charged with a Class A misdemeanor. This applies regardless of whether the flower is federally compliant (under 0.3% delta-9 THC by dry weight). For this reason, ATLRx does not ship smokable THCa flower or pre-rolls to Indiana addresses. Buying it elsewhere and shipping it into the state does not change its status under Indiana law.
What THCa Products Indiana Customers Can Buy
While smokable flower is off the table, non-smokable hemp-derived products are generally permitted in Indiana when they are derived from hemp and stay within the legal THC limit. Indiana customers can typically purchase forms such as:
- Tinctures
- Edibles and gummies
- Topicals
- Capsules
Every product we offer is third-party lab tested, with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) available so you always know exactly what you are ordering. You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase. Because hemp laws change frequently, we recommend reviewing current Indiana guidance, or checking with a qualified attorney before buying.
THCA Flower in Indiana - Frequently Asked Questions
No. Smokable THCa flower and pre-rolls are not legal in Indiana. Indiana’s smokable hemp ban (Indiana Code § 35-48-1-26.6 and § 35-48-4-10.1) covers THCa flower regardless of its delta-9 THC content, and dealing in it is classified as a Class A misdemeanor. It is not possible for ATLRx to ship smokable THCa flower to Indiana.
Yes, but only non-smokable ones. Hemp-derived, non-inhalable products such as tinctures, edibles, topicals, and capsules are generally permitted in Indiana when derived from hemp and within the legal THC limit. Browse our collection, select your products, and complete checkout. Orders are shipped discreetly with tracking, and every item includes a Certificate of Analysis.
Indiana’s restriction turns on the method of consumption, not just the cannabinoid. Because THCa flower is intended to be smoked and THCa converts to delta-9 THC when heated, it falls under the state’s smokable hemp ban. Non-smokable forms like edibles and tinctures are not captured by that specific prohibition, which is why they remain available to Indiana customers.
Possibly. Indiana has considered several hemp bills in recent sessions, and federal law is also moving toward a “total THC” standard that counts THCa alongside delta-9 THC. As a result of these changes, hemp-derived products may be subject to even tighter regulations. Because the landscape is evolving, always review current state and federal guidance before purchasing.
