You can buy CBD in Georgia today, no waiting required. The Georgia Hemp Farming Act legalized hemp-derived CBD in 2019, and Senate Bill 494 tightened the rules, effective October 1, 2024, so you always know exactly where you stand.
Georgia uses a total THC standard, not a Delta-9-only standard. The formula is (THCA x 0.877) + Delta-9 THC, and the result must stay at or below 0.3% by dry weight. What Changes November 12, 2026
A federal law passed in November 2025 caps the amount of THC in hemp products at 0.4 mg per container.
