CBD Frequently Asked Questions

We Encourage Questions!

There are many questions we constantly get asked about cannabidiol (CBD), which is why we decided to compile a list of CBD FAQs. This will help you learn more about the potential effects, benefits and properties of these cannabinoids.

WHAT IS CBD?

CBD is the most amazing natural molecule found in the hemp and/or cannabis plant — and we here at ATLRx are dedicated to offering only the finest and purest quality CBD hemp oil.

WHERE DOES CBD COME FROM?

CBD is extracted and isolated from explicit assortments of cannabis, also known as hemp. CBD is one of 100+ chemical substances known as cannabinoids, which are found in the cannabis plant. CBD is the most common and the richest compound in hemp, representing up to 40% of the plant. Since our CBD is separated from hemp, you may hear this kind of item alluded to in a couple of ways: CBD-rich Hemp Oil, Hemp-Inferred CBD Oil, CBD-rich cannabis oil, or Full Spectrum Hemp Extracts.

WHAT IS THE RIGHT PRODUCT FOR ME?

There are numerous ways on how to consume ATLRx CBD items, each with its very own advantages and downsides.

ATLRx Hemp Oil is amazingly gentle tasting and uses Hemp Seed Oil as a transporter for CBD. Since our CBD Hemp Oil is consumed orally, this delivery mechanism is the best route for the impacts of CBD to be felt, and the length of the effects should typically last anywhere between 4 and 6 hours.

  • ATLRx Vapes are amazingly gentle and are used for tiny usage. We recommend consuming this product alongside ATLRx Tinctures.
  • ATLRx Edibles are amazingly aromatic and also used for tiny usage. We recommend consuming this product alongside ATLRx Tinctures.
  • ATLRx creams and salves should be used externally.

HOW MUCH CBD SHOULD I TAKE?

Dosing CBD isn’t an exact science, since each individual metabolic rate is different. We at ATLRx prescribe a single 10ml serving size (which is one full dropper marked on our dropper) every morning and right before bed. CBD clients encounter the best CBD impacts at a lower portion than this, and some experience the best impacts at a higher portion than this. Begin by utilizing the suggested portion, and alter your dosage as required. There is absolutely no dangerous amount of ATLRx CBD that an individual can consume.

WHAT IS THE RIGHT STRENGTH FOR ME?

Dosing CBD isn’t an exact science and requires some experimentation to get the appropriate amount for each individual. With persistence and practice, you should be able to understand what is the right dosage amount for you. We produce tinctures in shifting milligram qualities (did we mention our droppers have measurements!) so you can locate the dosage you require for your ailments.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CBD?

Because of FDA directions and regulations, we can’t express the advantages of CBD on our website. We apologize for this. In any case, we are assuming that since you are visiting ATLRx you know or are curious to know about the astonishing advantages of utilizing CBD. If not we urge you to Google ‘what are the advantages of CBD’. Here is an article of research conducted by Harvard Medical:

We believe the phyto-nutrients present in hemp extracts, such as CBD, CBDA, other cannabinoids, terpenes, ketones, phenols, flavonoids and the array of minerals, vitamins, Omega 6 and 3 are health promoting. Hemp is a natural way to support your health.

HOW DOES CBD WORK?

Additional scientific research is needed to make sense of how CBD impacts our bodies. Studies have demonstrated the presence of an arrangement of cell receptors in our body, called the Endocannabinoid framework (ECs), which spreads all through the connective tissues and even into your organs. The cannabis group of plants contains other compounds which collaborate explicitly with this framework and give healthful and restorative esteem that is inaccessible to most different plants. This is what is called the “Entourage Effect”.

WHAT ARE CANNABINOIDS?

Cannabinoids are the essential chemical compound extracted from the cannabis plant and there are in excess of 100 recognized cannabinoids. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most notable cannabinoid delivered by the cannabis plant and is the ONLY psychoactive cannabinoid. Of the other 100+ non-psychoactive cannabinoids, Cannabidiol (CBD) is the most broadly known.

WILL CBD GET ME HIGH?

NO. Compared to THC, CBD does not cause a “buzz” or “high”. CBD is a favorable day by day staple item since there are minimal side effects.

WHAT IS FULL SPECTRUM OR WHOLE-PLANT?

ATLRx is considered as a full spectrum hemp product. This means that our CBD products give a full cannabinoid profile that uses many of the distinctive cannabinoids including trace amounts of THC, underneath the government lawful limit of .3%.

WHAT ARE TERPENES?

The cannabis plant comprises of a wide assortment of chemicals, compounds and mixtures. Around 140 of these belong with a substantial class of sweet-smelling natural hydrocarbons known as terpenes.

Terpenes, unlike cannabinoids, provide the fragrance and the unique aroma of cannabis. The FDA and other organizations have commonly perceived terpenes as “safe.” Terpenes work with receptors and neurotransmitters. Terpenes tend to break up and/or dissolve in lipids and/or fats. They behave like serotonin increase inhibitors and they also improve norepinephrine activity. Additionally, terpenes increase dopamine levels and enlarge the GABA (the “killjoy” synapse that counters glutamate, the “upper”).

However, with CBD research extremely limited, additional research is required for the enhanced exactness in depicting and anticipating how terpenes in cannabis can be utilized medicinally to help treat different ailments and conditions.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CBD AND THC?

Cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are the two primary fixings in the pot plant. Both CBD and THC have a place with a one of a kind class of mixes known as cannabinoids.

The High – THC is likely best known for being the psychoactive fixing in pot. CBD, be that as it may, is non-psychoactive. At the end of the day, CBD can’t get you high.

Anxiolytic – THC is known to make a few people feel on edge or jumpy. CBD is accepted to have the contrary impact.

Antipsychotic – Notwithstanding being non-psychoactive, CBD appears to have antipsychotic properties.

Legal Status – While most nations have strict laws encompassing Cannabis and THC, the legitimate status of CBD is less clear. The FDA of the United States considers hemp oil (and it’s subsidiary CBD) to be a wholesome product (not a drug), since they are extracted from mechanical hemp plants. After the passing of the FARM BILL in December of 2018, CBD is now categorized as legal in all 50 US States.

We recommend storing our products in a cool, dry location, out of open sunlight. The typical medicine cabinet or pantry should be fine. Once a tincture bottle has been opened, we recommend refrigeration.

WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR CBD AND HEMP FROM?

We use 100% Colorado-grown hemp extracts in our dietary supplement manufacturing.

WHAT EXTRACTION METHOD DO YOU USE?

We use ethanol/alcohol to extract our hemp, the most historically used method for cannabis/hemp extracts. It is a clean and cold extraction method that allows for optimal retention of terpenes and other sensitive compounds. We also employ low-temperature and relatively low-pressure CO2 extractions for some of our products.

WHAT IS THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM (ECS)?

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors located in the mammalian brain and throughout the central and peripheral nervous systems, consisting of neuromodulatory lipids and their receptors.

There are two main types of receptors in the ECS, CB1, and CB2. CB1 receptors are primarily located in the central nervous system and brains of mammals, and CB2 are generally found in the peripheral nervous system. There are two main cannabinoids mammals produce- 2AG and Anandamide (named after the Sanskrit term “Ananda” which translates to “bliss”).

For hundreds of millions of years every vertebrate on Earth has been equipped with this ECS, a crucial system in the body, and it has been known about in the scientific and medical communities since the 1980’s. However, it’s still not taught about in most medical schools.

IS ATLRx LEGAL?

The FDA of the United States considers hemp oil (and it’s derivative CBD) to be a nutritional product since they are derived from industrial hemp plants. If you live in the US, this means you don’t need a prescription and can legally purchase and consume Cannabidiol in any state.
