HOLY TACO TUESDAY!

Not even the pandemic will stop Cinco de Mayo festivities from happening, at least not on the food end. 

While we can’t go out and enjoy tacos and margaritas with our friends in honor of the Battle of Puebla, plenty of places are offering Mexican food and drink for take out. There are also cooking and cocktail classes, food pairings and more to keep the fiesta going. Allow us to offer you one…

But first, some history.  Cinco De Mayo commemorates the anniversary of an early victory by Mexican forces over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.  This year the stars align and Cinco De Mayo falls on a TUESDAY, so we made EXTRA special tacos with CBD infused Avocado Crema.

 

Lesson Review: When cooking with CBD, you want to put them in fats. Avocados and butter or dressings are a perfect way to dress up your recipes. So dress up those dressings!

 

Avocado Crema Recipe:

2 ripe avocados

½ cup greek yogurt

2 tbsp lime Juice

1 clove garlic

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp salt

2 droppers of ATLRx 

 

Mash avocados along with yogurt, lime juice, garlic, cumin, salt and ATLRx CBD.
